Fortunella japonica
The kumquat bears abundant orange- or flame-to-orange-colored fruits of small size, often less than an inch in diameter. Fortunella margarita and F. japonica, widely cultivated in China and Japan and in all new
variety of Fortunella cultivate few areas in Egypt, have fruits with a relatively thick, fleshy, sweet, edible peel, with four to seven segments filled with mildly acid pulp.
