Food safety is fundamental to all processes at RODA®. After all, food safety is just as important as the product itself, perhaps even more important. To guarantee the safety of our products, we are associated with National Food Safety Authority. This authority carries out independent residue inspections based on risk analysis. Not leaving anything to chance, residue inspections are regularly carried out by NFSA. Almost all RODA® Farms and Growers and Suppliers deliver Global G.A.P certified products, and the adoption of the Social Compliance Initiative (GRSAP & SMETA) in the implementation throughout now and farms and supplying farmers
is keen to renew the accreditations annually to ensure the production of its fruits with minimal environmental impact and responsibility towards the health and safety of all employees. RODA farms are also keen to apply international food safety standards and the EU's list of permitted and prohibited pesticides, as well as the list of Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs). During the harvest season, products are checked through strict quality control measures to ensure that supply farmers meet the requirements of clients and a dedicated team ensures that products are filled and stored at optimum temperatures according to the specifications of the physiological fruits, taking into account the existence of a system that allows the tracking of products from the source until they reach the final consumer.
